Hand-forged iron blade with heavy surface corrosion mounted in a carved wooden handle. Handle features two cut-out apertures and a fitted metal collar at the junction. Blade is broad and roughly shaped, consistent with traditional utilitarian or ceremonial tools. Exhibits significant age wear, oxidation, and surface loss. Likely African origin, exact tribe or region unknown.
