Vintage Mettlach Wine Earned Crusaders & Monks Stein. German text translates to, "Crusaders brought the vines from the Holy Land to the Rhine River’s shores, but the flower of the wine in sweet splendor was only brought to light by the monastery wine press." This stein is approx 7 3/4" x 7" x 16 1/4" and it weighs 9.4 lbs. The stein has markings and chips, and the handle was broken and fixed at one time and it is missing its lid.
