This lot contains a Signed & Framed "Tanngrisnir & Tanngnjostr" Goats Original Blue & Green Etching With Copper Plate By Chelsea Smith. This original copper etching is printed on Rives BFK archival paper. Below the printed etching is a matted copper remarque. Signature in the right corner under the etching.
In Norse mythology Tanngrisnir & Tanngnjostr are the goats who pull Thor’s chariot. Tanngrisnir meaning Gap-Toothed and Tanngnjostr meaning Tooth-Grinder. The story states that Thor eats the goats for strength and then later resurrects them with his hammer Mjollnir.

The matted etching is approx. 18" x 12"

Overall the framed etching is in good used condition with some minor wear from use over time. The etching and copper plate are protected by glass. The frame has some light scuffs and scratches along the edges. Please reference all of the photographs as they are a part of the description.
