This lot contains a Disney’s Cinderella Commemorative Lithograph 2001.  Cinderella is an animated film produced by Walt Disney productions in 1950. The Disney film was based on the 1697 Fairy tale Cendrillon ou la petite pantoufle de verre (Cendrillon or The Little Glass Slipper) by French Author Charles Perrault. Cinderella was released to theaters on February 15, 1950, as the twelfth animated motion picture, receiving critical acclaim and becoming a box office success. Cinderella received three Academy Award nominations, including Best Scoring of a Musical Picture, Best Sound Recording, and Best Original Song for "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo." The Library of Congress selected the film for preservation in the United States National Film Registry as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" in 2018. The film is now a part of the Walt Disney Signature collection. In this lithograph, we see the beginning of the transformation of Cinderella’s torn dress to the famous blue ball gown. This scene is considered to be Walt Disney’s favorite animation. Printed in the USA Disney Copyright. It is approx 11" x 14 1/4" and it weighs about 0.6oz. Overall the Commemorative Lithograph is in excellent used condition with no noticeable flaws. Please reference all of the photographs as they are a part of the description.
