Cast bronze Tibetan Buddhist figure depicting Green Tara, shown seated in a relaxed posture on a lotus base. The figure is finely modeled with an elaborate crown, jewelry, and flowing garments. One hand is raised in a gesture of reassurance while the other is lowered in a gesture of generosity. The base is decorated with lotus petal relief, and the underside shows a recessed, sealed base consistent with decorative devotional bronzes.
