British Pattern 1888 bayonet for the Lee-Metford rifle, featuring a straight double-edged spear-point blade, steel cross guard, and two-piece wooden grip secured with brass rivets. Marked with a Crown over “VR” for Queen Victoria, with additional markings “8 ’91". Additional British inspection/acceptance markings are present on the opposite side of the blade and grip pommel. No scabbard included.
