This piece by Etta Jean Juge is an encaustic mixed media painting done on a wooden board. The combination of the texture of the wax and the way colors swirl and blend in the medium creates a dreamy image that pulls the viewer in deeper the longer they look.
Etta Jean Juge is a former technical writer and college professor who has made Central Florida her home. Many of her works combine encaustic with photography to "freeze-frame the beauty of simplicity".
In good condition with no known damage. This work should never be hung near a heat source or in a place where it will receive direct sunlight.
