French cast bronze medal plaque commemorating the Grand Concours et Challenge National de Musique held in Caen, August 8–10, 1925. The relief depicts a classical female figure playing a lyre, framed by laurel and foliate motifs in an Art Nouveau style.
Inscribed text reads: GRAND CONCOURS ET CHALLENGE NATIONAL DE MUSIQUE CAEN 8, 9 ET 10 AOUT 1925
Presented in its original hinged presentation case with red velvet interior and green exterior. The interior lid is stamped MARGUERITAT PARIS. Plaque shows surface wear, patina, and light scratches consistent with age. The case shows edge wear and scuffing. This item is in pre-owned, previously displayed condition with light wear and surface scratches/markings. Please reference all photos for full details.
