Spaceport News was a biweekly NASA publication that served Kennedy Space Center civil service and contractor employees from 1962 to 2014. The publication covered a variety of topics, primarily related to Kennedy’s business of processing, launching and landing spacecraft and payloads for Earth orbit and deep space. It has been replaced by Spaceport Magazine. The objectives of Spaceport News were to provide timely, pertinent feature-like information to the Kennedy workforce, to serve as an archival documentation of news and events at Kennedy, and to inform and educate Kennedy employees and outside influential audiences — such as community leaders, government officials and members of the business community.
