This is a Royal Doulton “Nanny” HN 2221 porcelain figurine, dated 1978 and signed on the underside by Michael Doulton. The figure shows an elderly woman sewing a teddy bear, seated in a rocking chair with toys at her feet. Gloss-finish ceramic, hand-painted. Marked Royal Doulton, copyright 1957, HN 2221.
