This lot contains a Genuine Ushabti of Ancient Egypt dated from the first thousand years before Christ. Ushabti’s were figurines that were designed to be placed in someones tomb with them after death. It was believed that Ushabti’s could assist the dead in the after life. In almost all cases a good foundation for correct and exact dating and ownership is impossible due to age and lack of information. Exceptions include only royals and dignitaries. The Ushabti is approx 2" x 1 1/2" x 4" and weighs about 0.5lbs. Overall the ancient figurine is in good used condition consistent with age.
