This lot contains a NASA STS-62 Crew Insignia Patch, Mission Press Kit, Photo Of Crew, Profile Summary + Bonus Sticker (JB H25). The two week missions main objectives include the United States Microgravity Payload (USMP-2) and the Office of Aeronautics and Space Technology (OAST-2) payloads. These two payloads "represent a multifaceted array of space science and engineering experiments." The STS-62 Patch was designed by Mark Pestana. The Patch was designed in an upward-pointing vector shape to symbolize America’s reach for excellence in its pursuit to explore the frontiers of space. The Space Shuttle Columbia was the worlds first reusable spacecraft. The patch depicts Space Shuttle Columbia on its sixteenth flight preparing to return home to planet earth. The NASA Bundle fits in two protective plastic sleeves. Each Protective cover is approx 11 1/4" x 9 1/4". Total weight is about 0.1lbs.
