Official period copy of a 1688 regulation by King Louis XIV, concerning the raising of militias along the borders of the Kingdom of France. Has a page attached to the back that appears to be later, with notes on the document and its context.
In very good condition for it’s age, with some rough edges, soiling in places and a couple of very small holes.
