Vintage Wooden Laughing Budai Buddha And Skinny Man Statues. These statues portray Laughing Budai and a man who is portrayed as very skinny. We could not find out what this person is supposed to be, it -may- be one of Li Tieguai. Both have dog-like creatures at their sides and both appear to be having a very good time. The maker and date of creation is unknown. The Budai is approx 12" x 5" x 4". This statue has a crack on the left side of the shoulder. The dog like creature is missing part of something that is supposed to be in its mouth. There is also a crack on the base. The skinny man statue is approx 12" x 4 1/2" x 4". There is a small crack on the statue’s right side of the body and also on the hair. There is also a crack on the base. The total weight is 3.25lbs.
