Signed Note From Italian President Sandro Pertini
A note from 1981 reciprocating well-wishes, written and signed by then-President of Italy, Sandro Pertini. Pertini served from 1978-1985, and famously was apart of the resistance against Benito Mussolini’s authoritarian rule and later the Nazi German occupying forces.
The note comes on the president’s stationary, in the original envelope used to mail it from his office in Rome.
