This lot contains a U.S. Civil War New York State Seal Staff Button. Convex with a relief state seal and border. Marked "SCOVILL MF’G CO. – WATERBURY State Of New York". This button was worn on the coat of New York Civil War units. It is approx 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/2". Total weight is less than 1 gram.
