S&N Woody Jackson Absolut Statehood: Vermont Print. This one is #74 out of #400. The framed print is approx 28 1/2" x 1" x 4 1/2" and it weighs 11.30lbs. The frame has some small chips. The lithograph was signed and numbered by the artist on the bottom border.
Absolut Statehood was one of Absolut Vodka’s most ambitious and extensive art projects. Across the USA, 51 artists were chosen, one for each state and one for Washington D.C., and were commissioned to create “state portraits” representing their respective home states.
In conjunction with the campaign, lithographs of each work were sold, numbered, and signed by the artists. All proceeds, approximately 4 million dollars, were donated to the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) for medical research.
