Jaromír Stretti Zamponi signed print of a Christmas market at the Malostranské Nám?stí (Is the main square of Prague’s Malá Strana. St. Nicholas Church and the adjacent building complex divides the square in an upper (western) and lower (eastern) part. From the square Mostecká ulice leads out to the Charles Bridge.)
Artist signed lower right. Czech painter and graphic artist, brother of Viktor Stretti, member of SVU Manes and SCUG Hollar. He is known for his color aquatints, his work includes a large number of motifs from the Old Town of Prague. Picture is not dated but it is from the early 1900’s. Framed print is approx 23" x 1" x 21". Print is approx 14 1/2" x 12 1/2". The framed print is in good, vintage condition with some wearing on the plex and the matting is loose near the top and there are some rips on the backing paper.
