Vintage H.J Topman Framed Oil On Canvas Old Man. The framed original is approx 16" x 1" x 18" and it weighs 2.70 lbs. The canvas is approx 8 1/2" x 10". There are a couple of light scratches on the artist’s signature (bottom right) and two visible nails sticking out on the sides of the canvas (center) frame.
H. J. Topman (1907-Unknown) was a Dutch artist who was known for his figure and genre paintings. He was born in the Netherlands and studied art at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. After graduating, Topman began working as a professional artist. He exhibited his work in a number of galleries and museums in the Netherlands and abroad.
