Group of two vintage hardcover books including Gregg Shorthand: A Light-Line Phonography for the Million by John Robert Gregg (Anniversary Edition, The Gregg Publishing Company) and 1001 One Minute Stories compiled by H.S. Chapman (Perry Mason Company, Boston, 1927).
Both books feature original cloth bindings. The Gregg Shorthand book retains interior instructional content with illustrations and text; the Chapman book contains short stories as published.
Both show moderate wear consistent with age, including edge wear, fading to covers, and toning to pages. Gregg Shorthand book includes handwritten shorthand notes on some pages. Chapman book shows age toning and light staining to interior pages. Bindings intact. The books exhibit expected shelf wear and age-related wear. Please review photographs for titles and condition. All pre-owned, with noticeable minor wear, with some tears and loose pages.
