Original U.S. Model 1905 bayonet manufactured by Springfield Armory and dated 1917. Features U.S. ordnance flaming bomb inspection mark, black ribbed grip panels, and WWII-era shortened M1905E1 blade configuration style. Includes U.S. military scabbard with flaming bomb insignia. Originally produced during World War I, and later arsenal modified for continued military service during World War II. 771407 Markings.
This antique military item is in pre-owned, previously used/displayed condition with noticeable light wear, blade retains a strong profile with light handling wear, and minor finish loss. Grip panels are intact. Scabbard shows expected surface wear, scratches, and age-related patina. The locking mechanism appears present and functioning.
