Complete classical chess set by Mascott Direct England & U.S.A., featuring sculptural figural pieces based on famous works, including Michelangelo’s David, Greek Goddess, Chinese Sage, Roman horse head, Rodin’s “The Thinker, ” and Florentine lion.
Pieces are cast in reconstituted crushed marble with a two-tone finish (dark brown and cream). Includes original insert card and fitted box with dividers. All pieces appear present and match the set description. Each piece has a felted base. Light surface wear consistent with handling; no major damage observed. Original box included.
