Framed Alex Perrodin Gyotaku Method Fish Rubbing. Gyotaku is a traditional Japanese art form of printing fish and other sea creatures using ink and paper. The word gyotaku comes from the Japanese words gyo ("fish") and taku ("stone impression").This was signed by the artist on the bottom right of the original. This is approx 15 3/4" x 19 3/4" x 1" and it weight 3.40lbs. There is some light signs of wear on the frame and the backing paper has some rips.
