Brilliantly detailed church interior with rich gold tones, dramatic perspective, and highly textured impasto. Very good condition, no tears or losses, minor wear to frame corners, canvas taut.
Wilfrido Martinez is an artist and art educator well-known in Quito, Ecuador. In 2002, Ecuador released a series of stamps with images of churches in Quito painted by him.
